My journey into the world of healing and physical wellness began in 2013 when I attended Seacoast Career School's massage therapy program in my home state of New Hampshire. Following the completion of my program, I began work as a massage therapist, first in a salon, and then a spa on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
In 2016, my quest for knowledge and professional growth led me to Rhode Island, where I moved to pursue an education in Physical Therapy Assisting. This was a pivotal move in my career, as it broadened my understanding of the human body and rehabilitation, enriching my massage practice with deeper insights into physical health and recovery processes. In 2017, fueled by my passion and armed with a wealth of knowledge, I took the bold step of opening my own massage practice. The independence of my own practice allowed me to effectively utilize my skills and provide a personalized healing experience to my clients. For several years, I split my time between working as a Physical Therapy Assistant and a Licensed Massage Therapist, a balancing act that taught me invaluable lessons and allowed me to view healing from multiple perspectives. However, in 2021, after much contemplation and reflection on where my true passion lay, I decided to dedicate myself full-time to massage therapy. This decision was driven by my deep-seated belief in the transformative power of touch and my desire to facilitate holistic healing. My practice is not just about relieving physical discomfort but about fostering overall well-being, helping my clients to achieve a balanced state of mind and body. Throughout these years, I've continuously sought to enhance my skills and knowledge, attending workshops, and seminars, and staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in massage therapy and rehabilitation. My approach is a blend of science and intuition, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients, whether they seek relief from pain, stress reduction, or overall wellness. Outside of my professional life, I have a rich tapestry of interests that keep me grounded, inspired, and connected. I'm an avid rock climber, a hobby that pushes me to new heights and reminds me of the importance of trust, balance, and perseverance. This passion not only keeps me physically active but also mentally focused, mirroring the balance I strive to achieve in my practice. This love for rock climbing is something I share with my significant other and his daughter, making it a cherished family activity. At home, our world is joyously shared with two dogs (Poncho and Baxter) and a cat (Corndog), each adding their unique brand of love, chaos, and comfort to my life. Their unwavering companionship and unconditional love they offer are sources of daily happiness. As someone who values diversity and inclusivity, I pride myself on being LGBTQ+ friendly, both personally and professionally. I believe in creating a welcoming and safe space for everyone, regardless of their background or identity. My practice is a place of healing and support for all, reflecting my deep commitment to respect, kindness, and understanding. I am dedicated to fostering a positive impact both within and beyond the treatment room. My journey to establishing a thriving practice has been incredibly rewarding. Each day, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives, providing a sanctuary for healing, relaxation, and rejuvenation. As I look to the future, I am excited to continue growing, learning, and sharing the healing power of massage with all those in need. |
