We strongly believe that regular therapeutic massage can prevent and aid in healing injuries, reduce chronic pain, and improve quality of life. We believe that deep and therapeutic massage does not have to be painful to be effective and look forward to being a part of your self-care routine.

I started my journey as a massage therapist at Seacoast Career School in Manchester, New Hampshire where I studied a range of clinically focused massage therapy techniques. Since graduating in October of 2013, I have set out to help people manage and overcome chronic pain caused by muscular imbalances. My passion lies in therapeutic massage, utilizing a variety of massage modalities such as neuromuscular, myofascial, deep tissue, and active/passive release mixed with stretching to promote improved posture, range of motion, and relief from pain and stress.

My practice began in the lakes region of New Hampshire, but I moved to Rhode Island in the spring of 2016 to further my education and knowledge of manual therapy at CCRI, enrolling in their physical therapy assisting program. After a year at a spa in downtown Providence, I decided it was time to open up shop for myself. I brought my services to Salon Johna in North Providence during the summer of 2017.

What is Halcyon?

Halcyon is a word that denotes a period of time where you felt idyllically happy and peaceful.
